NBA – Daily GPP Plays for December 1st, 2019

Another 3 game slate tonight, and it starts at 6:00 PM EST, just after the Browns beat the Steelers again in Pittsburgh this time.  As always with small slates less than 4, I’ll only be playing large-field GPP’s.  Here we go with tonight’s plays, as always hit me up on Twitter @DraftshotNBA if you have any questions or just want to talk lineup construction or anything sports related!

GPP POINT GUARDS:

Fred Van Vleet $8,200 – He’s just been excellent without Lowry, who is doubtful tonight, and this could be his last game as the main guard in the lineup.  Sneaky good matchup, and has a massive floor here.  NO reason to get cute with this one on the short slate, take the free square.

Patrick Beverley $5,800 – Couldn’t ask for a better matchup, the pace will be crazy in this one and Beverley may rack up 5+ blocks and steals in this spot.  He’s priced a bit high for my liking, but the upside is certainly there.

Ish Smith $4,500 – Should see his usual 25ish minutes off the bench, and he’s been playing very well of late.  Should see less Beverley defense than Isaiah will, and for that reason I’ll have more Ish in this spot.

GPP SHOOTING GUARDS:

Evan Fournier $6,300 – Another free square, his usage is off the charts without Vucevic and this is a great matchup for him against the league’s worst team.  Differentiate elsewhere.

Norman Powell $5,500 –  Still love his game, and this could be his last game with the starting 5.  Nice matchup, and still priced to where he has solid upside.  I’ll have Fournier/Powell pairs most everywhere on FanDuel.

Lou Williams $7,300 – Sweet Lou should see 25-30 minutes in a close game or blowout here, and I love his upside at this price.  I think he winds up being pretty chalky here, and due to his high variance it’s likely a fade for me.

GPP SMALL FORWARDS:

Pascal Siakam $9,300 – I may stack Raptors tonight, despite the tough matchup.  Siakam is an elite option here and has an ideal individual matchup, and I’m betting he comes in significantly lower owned than this next guy…

Paul George $9,100 –  Dream matchup, but blowout potential scares me a bit here as Washington is really, really bad.  Safe floor, not elite upside at this price.

Jonathan Isaac $7,400 – Priced down a bit and still seeing monster usage in this offense, and has 50+ upside due to his ability to rack up blocks and steals.  I’ll have Siakam/Isaac everywhere.

GPP POWER FORWARDS:

Draymond Green $7,000 –  Not going to see a ton of minutes, but in 25-30 which I think he gets he has elite upside and a great matchup here.  He’ll get overlooked because everyone’s worried about the minutes limit, wouldn’t shock me if he triple-doubled in that short run.

Rui Hachimura $4,900 – Priced down, and although I don’t love his minutes of late, I do think he has nice upside at this price.  I’ll have exposure to him as the blowout risk really doesn’t concern his minutes.

Kawhi Leonard $10,200 – Will be chalky, and if you think this game stays close you should play him.  I think it’s going to be a blowout, and Leonard will sit the 4th.

GPP CENTERS:

Marc Gasol $5,400 –  My play of the day, centers are absolutely crushing against Gobert this year, take a look back at Friday when Jonas Valanciunas absolutely broke the slate in the same matchup.  35+ fantasy points from Gasol with ease tonight.

Mo Bamba $4,700 –  Vucevic is still out, and Bamba should see 20+ minutes here in a dream matchup.  He’ll wind up chalkier than he should.

Montrezl Harrell $7,600 – Nice floor, but again this game scares me as Washington really is one of the worst teams I’ve seen play this year.  I’ll be avoiding the Clippers completely in most lineup builds.
