CFL 2018 week 21

Welcome to the last CFL, CFL DFS advice article of 2018.  This week we have a 4 game slate. Only one of the games has playoff implications.  After last week it the playoff picture was very difficult to explain this week it is simple.  Calgary needs a win to claim first in the West and loss will give first place to Saskatchewan. This is going to be a rough guide to the week.  We only have two depth charts right now and we could see some players rested this week heading into the playoffs. Let’s get started!

BO LEVI MITCHELL Calgary Stampeders $10,400

Since the Stamps are the only team with something to play for this week.  Bo Levi Mitchell is the only QB that is likely to play the entire game. He is my cash game option.  He is my safe GPP option.

JAMES FRANKLIN Toronto Argonauts $9,400

Franklin is listed as the starter for the Argos on Friday night football.  He has put together a couple of decent games for fantasy in the last two weeks.  He is listed as the starter and may play the entire game as he was expected to take over for Ricky Ray when the Argos acquired him.  With a matchup against the RedBlacks who have given up some big games against the pass. Franklin could end up winning you a GPP.

MOSSIS MADU JR. Ottawa RedBlacks $5,200

Mossis Madu will get the start at running back for the RedBlacks.  We know that the RedBlacks have run the ball well this season with Powell being their lead back.  Expect Madu to get lots of opportunities for Madu to rack up some fantasy points this week.

WILLIAM STANBACK Montreal Alouettes $7,200

Had a huge week last week starting at running back.  He should be the starter this week as Montreal has been building for next year for a while now.  Stanback has been impressive since the Als traded away Sutton and has shown that the Als likely made the right decision long term for their team.

ERIC ROGERS Calgary Stampeders $8,200

Eric Rogers is due for a big game.  Also, he is one of the few safe options playing this week. Given that he is on a team playing for something this week.

MARKEITH AMBLES Calgary Stampeders $6,600

Ambles has been a good addition to the Stamps injured receiving core.  He has had back to back productive games. Also like I have been saying the Stamps are the only team playing for something this week.  Look for Ambles to have a productive game.

GENO LEWIS Montreal Alouettes $7,500

Geno Lewis and the Als have been preparing for next year for a while now.  They have also been having a good time doing it. Lewis threw a touchdown pass last week.  Lewis seems to have a connection with his teammates and his coaches. The Als have no need to rest players because they don’t play a game of value until June. Look for him to stay involved in the offense this week in their final game of the season.

R.J. HARRIS Ottawa RedBlacks $4,900

RJ Harris isn’t listed as a starting receiver but he is listed as the kick returner and I expect that he will get some reps at receiver this week as the Redblacks are resting 3 of their regular starting receivers headed into the playoffs.  Harris will have a nice floor as he will return kicks and should add some points with the reps he does get on offense.

MYLES WHITE Toronto Argonauts $3,300

Myles White is listed as a starter for the Argos on their depth chart.  He will lineup on the field wideout spot next to SJ Green. White doesn’t need to do much to reach value.  If you are looking for value White is a great option this week.

The RedBlacks are going to give their two backup QBs each a half this week.  Also they are resting three of their starting receivers this week. The Argos defense has an opportunity to create some turnovers and maybe some touchdowns.
