Welcome to another CFL, CFL DFS advice article.  This week we are back to a 4 game slate. There are only 7 weeks left in the regular season.  We are finished with the Labour Day games and we are in the home stretch of the season. Let’s get started!

QB:

MIKE REILLY Edmonton Eskimos $11,600

Reilly should see another big game against the RedBlacks.  He averages almost 1 rushing TD a game which gives him a big advantage over all other QBs fantasy-wise in the CFL.  Add in the 328 passing yards per game and 2 plus TD passes a game. If you used Reilly every week and played cash games you probably are doing really well this season. Why stop now?

ZACH COLLAROS Saskatchewan Roughriders $8,200

Collaros gets a plus matchup against the Argos defense this week. The Argos allow an average of more than 300 yards per game in passing.  Collaros is a nice value play at QB. I like a Riders stack in GPPs this week. I think it could be sneaky and could pay off.

RB:

WILLIAM POWELL Ottawa RedBlacks $8,200

Edmonton allows a lot of points to running backs.  Powell has had 100-yard games in 3 of his last 4. Add in a couple of catches and a score and he is a nice safe play even at his price.

ANDREW HARRIS Winnipeg Blue Bombers $8,000

Andrew Harris is the most dynamic RB in the CFL and should be considered to make your lineups every week.  This week he gets a matchup against another struggling team, Montreal. He should see a higher rate of touches as I expect the game script to be more in his favor.

WILLIAM STANBACK Montreal Alouettes $5,300

Stanback should get the start for Montreal this week.  Expect him to reach value for cash games. If he gets in the end zone he will be a nice value play for you.

WR:

D’HAQUILLE WILLIAMS Edmonton Eskimos $10,000

Only three times this season Duke Williams hasn’t had a 100-yard receiving game.  He needs to be in your cash lineup and should be in most of your GPP lineups. He is the most expensive receiver and should be the highest owned receiver in all formats this week.

J. WILLIAMS-LAMBERT Saskatchewan Roughriders $6,300

Williams-Lambert makes his weekly appearance in the write-up.  His price isn’t that high. He is the number 1 target for the Riders and he gets a plus matchup against the Argos secondary.

BRYAN BURNHAM BC Lions $8,300

Bryan Burnham seems to be heating up.  His price is up a lot from last week but with Arceneaux out Burnham is clearly the primary target for Jennings and the Lions.  Burnham should continue to see an increase in targets for the Lions.

BRYANT MITCHELL Edmonton Eskimos $4,600

With Derel Walker out for the Esks Mitchell has stepped in with a big game in his absence against the most consistent defense in the CFL.  This week he gets a better matchup against the RedBlacks. Mitchell is still really affordable. I expect him to have another big game for a low cost this week.

DEVIER POSEY  BC Lions $5,300

With Posey playing in his second game with the Lions and getting a full week with the Lions to practice and study the playbook he should be more involved.  Remember Posey was the MVP in the Grey Cup last year. He knows the league and how to take advantage of the big field. Look for him to be a bigger part of the Lions offense this week.

TERRENCE TOLIVER Hamilton Tiger-Cats $5,300

With Brandon Banks questionable to play on Saturday, Toliver should be back in Banks field WR spot on the field.  Toliver isn’t Banks but he should benefit from being in Banks spot on the field. Toliver likely won’t produce the same amount of points as Banks usually does but he is a whole lot cheaper than Banks is too.

Defense:

LIONS $4,900

The Lions defense has 2 touchdowns, 7 interceptions and 13 sacks in their last two games.  They have been the reason why the Lions are back in a playoff spot and have climbed up most power rankings in the CFL.
