Klay Thompson didn’t help matters much, but we nailed Eric Bledsoe, D’Angelo Russell and Devin Booker last night en route to a breakeven night across both sites for me. I would have had a much better night had the Blazers and Pistons not gone into double-overtime, but what can you do?
Mason Plumlee ended up hitting value, but it took him a lot of extra run to do it, while it turned out Andre Drummond was the top play on the board as the chalk play last night. Tried to get a bit cute there, but that’s what you have to do sometimes in GPP’s if you want to take one down (see Randall Cobb yesterday in NFL).
Tonight we get a 3-game slate, and I’ll be honest I don’t play much at all on slates of less than 4 games. I’m going to give you my top 2 plays at each position, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TeeItUpBSmith with any questions or lineup ideas you want to discuss. Here we go…

Derrick Rose ($6,200 FD / $5,800 DK) – Rose hasn’t hit value in 5 games, and gets a juicy matchup tonight with Jrue Holiday and the Pelicans who are a horrific team defense. I love this spot to fire out Derrick Rose, and think you’ll get him at low ownership even with the small slate. GPP flier here.
Jrue Holiday ($6,900 FD / $6,600 DK) – Love both PG’s in this game, and Holiday is in a great spot here despite the Knicks’ being solid against opposing PG’s on paper. Derrick Rose doesn’t play any D, this game has a 216 point total and is expected to be close throughout. Fire both PG’s in this game with confidence.
*Obviously Russ is the top play on the board, so if you can fit him, you should. The Bulls can’t do ANYTHING to stop opposing PG’s, as we just saw with Kyle Lowry on Saturday.
Zach LaVine ($6,400 FD / $6,700 DK) –As bad as Andrew Wiggins has been this….
