With so much drama in the NBA, it’s kind of hard to trust your rosters at 3:30, but I.. Ok, not the best rhyme but I’m feeling good about tonight. I’ll be enjoying a Gin & Juice later, sweating out my rosters. Check out my core plays, all of which you can afford on 1 roster for tonights slate. As always, there are GPP plays that could prove valuable as well.

Mike Conley $6,900
Conley has double-doubled in two of his last three games, averaging over 40 points in his last five games. Tonight’s game serves as an important barometer for playoff teams in the West, so he should also see massive minutes. The Grizzlies are slight underdogs here as well (+4.5).
GPP sleeper : Mike Conley $6,900
I think Conley’s ownership may be lower than it should tonight with all the intriguing Point Guard options tonight. He’s coming off of two days rest!
CJ McCollum $7,800
CJ’s high usage rate (28.3) and overall consistency draws me to roster him. He’s hit at least 2 three-pointers in his last five games, and has the defending champion Cavaliers coming to town. This game has the highest projected total on the slate (220), which fits into CJ’s wheelhouse (23.7 ppg).
GPP sleeper : Tony Allen $4,900
Coach Fizdale will need to keep Allen on the floor to guard Westbrook. He’s a ball magnet, and offers the peripheral stats of rebounds, steals & blocks that everyone wants. If his shot happens to fall tonight, watch out. But the minutes and opportunity will be there!
Andrew Wiggins $6,400
In a game where the expected total & PACE are high, I want a guy who can flat out score. Wiggins can do just that. Plus, if Zach Lavine sits tonight, there’s more shots for Wiggins!
GPP sleeper : Robert Covington $6,000
Covington started the year on a terrible shooting slump, but has re-worked his shot a bit. What really draws me to him is the peripheral stats (see Tony Allen notes). In his last four games, RoCo has notched 12 steals & 5 blocks.
Kevin Love $8,100
Love failed to get a double-double last night, which was a first in his last seven games. Look for a new streak to start tonight versus Portland. With much of the defensive focus on LeBron & Kyrie, Love should be able to see good looks in this matchup. Plus, Portland is currently ranked 30th versus defending Power Forwards and ranked 26th in rebound rate.
GPP sleeper : Montrezl Harrell
I love Harell’s activity, and as Harden goes so does he. While I’d like to see his rebounding numbers increase, he could put up a solid game in the matchup.
KAT was an MVP candidate at the start of the season and has shown why lately. I like him in a matchup versus the Rockets where their PACE (100.9) will force more action. If Zach Lavine sits, there’s more usage for him as well.
GPP sleeper : Marc Gasol
I think many will shy away from the matchup with Steven Adams, but I welcome his finesse game here. In his last game versus the Thunder he registered 49 DK points. I’ll definitely have some rosters with the battery of Conley & Gasol tonight.
